It is one she can actually use for something "she" or "he" likes. Most of those teachers have a closetful (or spareroom full) of perfumes she won't wear, lace hankies, or child made gifts that she can't bear to part with because "X" or (Z) gave it to her and looking at them makes her feel appreciated again after a really bad day of school. There is not a teacher alive that doesn't enjoy a little "escapism" reading when they have a little free time. So I'd suggest you stay with the bookstore gift card and a tiny little item that fits her style or maybe cokiies that your child has helped make and a card "signed" by your child! Merry Christmas!
